Expect the unexpected.

Today is the beginning of a new week; fresh start with new opportunities. The past is behind you all the bad things that happened, mistakes, failures, disappointments… All forgotten, you’re heading into a new week with no unnecessary burden.

Isaiah 43:18-19 declares  “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

But! Yes there is a but. It won’t be a “bed of roses” this week, things will happen that you least expect and when you least expect it to. This doesn’t mean you should get down, this is just the enemy trying to weigh you down… It’s going to be okay. You may not be prepared when this happens but you will be alright. What you should expect and be happy about is that God will just swoop in and save the day.

Isaiah 59:19 also declares “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him.

So what ever happens this week know that it is just some scheme of the enemy and know that God will be there to help you out, whether sending someone to encourage you or something, but he will help.

Whisper this prayer as you begin your week…

Heavenly Father, I want to thank you for a brand new week. A week I have never seen before. I praise you for all the opportunities you will be opening up for me this week. I also praise you that when the enemy pops up out of no where to try to lead me away from what I am to do, you will come in and be my shield and hiding place. Thank you Lord, for what you have done, what you’re doing and for what you are about to do.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have a Productive Monday!
